We understand that finding a property you want to buy is only part of the journey to actually moving. Perhaps just as time consuming (and probably much more laborious) is the search for a mortgage to match your financial circumstances. Lenders regularly change both their products and their lending criteria and it is therefore very difficult to know at any one time what could be made available to you; even as agents we are not always aware of all products and offers within the mortgage market and therefore we too often rely upon the experience of industry professionals.

Many people know that the origins of Strawberry lie within the lettings market but perhaps not so well known is the fact that we are specialists in the field of buy to let. With over 30 years of experience (spanning a vast range of market conditions) we know exactly what constitutes a good investment and how best to manage that asset in order to realise the full rental potential.

For an initial fee of £250 we will find a suitable property, view it upon your behalf and provide a full report on our findings (including quotations for any necessary refurbishments). The full fee will be refunded to those clients who go on to buy their property and utilise the Strawberry management service – that’s the benefit of all those years of experience and letting ‘know how’ at no extra cost. 

Relocation 

Many agents will claim to be experts in relocation. Unfortunately what they usually mean is that they can sell houses and therefore deal with buyers – how much more difficult can it be to deal with a buyer who’s unfamiliar with the locality? Hmm….. 
 
Well, at Strawberry we believe that a very different set of skills is required to assist someone who is relocating. Everyone knows how stressful the house buying process can be anyway but add a strange area into the mix and the whole process can be even more daunting. It’s less about simply finding a good property and more about understanding the client’s real needs and doing in-depth research into the features, facilities and amenities of an area; geographical match-making if you will! 
 
Nicola’s career in property was very much founded in the relocation business as that is where she learned the art of providing exactly the kind of information people need when making what can be the most important decision of their lives. Strawberry continues to provide this service with the same amount of passion and tenacity that we’re now famous for in our more traditional lettings and sales. We liaise with well-established contacts nation-wide and can arrange visits to explore an area with appointments with local schools or childcare providers and even a tour of the leisure facilities – basically we cover everything that might just help the whole family settle in that bit more easily!
